Newsletter #8
“The comfortable life is a slippery slope toward the consumer life.”

Happy Friday Everyone!
We're a little over 1/3 of the way through the harvest season and it feels like a good time to check in with y'all to see how our CSA program is going for you:
Are you happy with what you are getting in your boxes?
Is our method of delivery going smoothly for you?
Are you able to use all your vegetables?
Do you find the newsletter helpful?
Is there anything you would like to learn this season?
What is the best part of the experience so far? What is the worst?
Please send me a quick reply with your comments and suggestions. I want to help you have a great experience. Now is the time to fix any issues so you can get the most out of your farm membership.
In other news, the greenhouse is filled again with fresh trays of soil and seeds for the fall/winter garden! We're starting those seeds now so that the Broccoli, Cabbage, Kales, Brussels Sprouts, Cauliflower, Leeks, Shallots, and Onions will be ready to transplant once the summer crops are winding down. Everything at the farm has really taken off in the last week- probably because we're finally seeing a little bit of sun! We're expecting to have summer squash, beans, cucumbers, and peppers in the coming weeks. We've got hundreds of tomatoes on the vines but are still waiting on the first blush of the year. Hopefully we'll see tomatoes and eggplants soon too!
